Shortly. Pomelo is a Quadratic Funding platform for public goods.
Our mission is to empower communities to build and fund the open web. We do that by giving builders and creators opportunities to earn in quarterly grants rounds. Quadratic Funding mechanism gives extraordinary community involvement in deciding the allocation of public funds.
Quadratic Funding is the optimal way of funding public goods in a democratic society. Inspired by Gitcoin, Pomelo Grants employs QF as a funding mechanism for digital public goods. But QF does have vulnerabilities. It can be gamed through Sybil and Collusion attacks, which is why identity verification — for grant funders and project owners is vital.
